There were nine of us staying at this wonderful hotel, and we stayed here for 14 great nights, which was £490.00 total for half board sharing. All rooms had excellent air consitioning, along with a great fan in the ceiling, which was needed because it was 35 Celsius outside, and it was only March! I shared a room with my wife, and as with all the rooms it was large and spacy, there was a working fridge, and a TV which we watched BBC World News on to keep in touch with what was going on. The bathroom was spacy and clean, and was designed more as a wetroom. Our bedding was changed every day, and the room was swept, then before the cleaners finished, they would leave two bottles of Aquafina water (which is so healthy, in that it contains 28% Magnesium, and 8% Zinc). No Mosquitos either.
The restaurant had a cuisine which was second to none, we suffered no ’Delhi Belly’ and there was such a wide selection to choose, from Indian to Chinese, to European. It was truly exceptional. Most of these fantastic meals were costing only 300 rupees which was about £2:50, and at home would easily cost £30:00. We got to know Bhatu the chef, he is a delightful fellow who is most certainly going places in the hospitality world. Make friends with him, you will not regret it. The Buttered Naan Bread is to die for. The hotel pool is probably the cleanest swimming pool I have ever swam in, the pool boy is there everyday, and it is a delight to swim in it. Be careful though as it is a suntrap and you must make sure you have at least 30 suncream protection.
We’ve been organizing our Friendships for Life Conferences every year here for the last 3 years! They’ve never failed to live up to their standards. Really good service, excellent management and very helpful staff. Its always been easy dealing with them. Excellent Rates for group travel and an amazing itinerary. Easily one of the best resorts in the segment. Newly renovated rooms are excellent. Good value for money, and the kids simply love it with Queensland right next-door and rates for the amusement park can be built into the package costs as well!
Truly pleased with this place.
We stayed at Pleasant Days Family Resort With My Family. I am very much surprise that we find very good accommodation in less price. Their services is very good and staff is too good, friendly and Helpful. My family is satisfied with service and next year we will visit them again, surely.
I stayed with my family in Jul’13 for a week’s time in this resort. It is a really cool place, away from the hustle and bustle of the city and at the same time well connected by road, internet and entertainment options. It is situated just next to Queen’s Land, the biggest amusement park in Tamilnadu. The swimming pool was clean and neat – the kids had a great time in the pool. The wifi connectivity was good. Overall, the resort is value for money.
Nice, well-maintained green surroundings. Just around 40 mins drive from airport Really large rooms. Comfortably can accomodate 4 persons. Overall high standard of cleanliness at par with any 4-star property. Clean, sparkling white bed linen, towels. But the amenities are basic in the room. Nothing flashy. Service is prompt. Food is of decent quality but spread was minimum for our group Large open area for outdoor sport activities with a good amusement just next door
A resort with an ambiance of an Hill station very close to Chennai. Good Clean Rooms. Nature surrounded cottages. Very good Swimming pool. Excellent service by the staff. A large theme park (Queensland) in the next compound. What else you require in Chennai. The best for a weekend especially for families who love to be in peace.
